If you're curious about attending psychotherapy or joining a retreat, you may want to get a sense of who I am and the journey I've been on.
I grew up in Galway on the Atlantic coast of Ireland, and from a young age it was clear that I wanted to be in a helping profession. My adult life has since been marked by an insatiable curiosity to deepen my understanding of the human experience - motivated by the wish to be of support to others on the journey of self-discovery.
I have come to embrace that my path in life is one of balancing depth and breadth. My work has been informed by an interweaving exploration in the fields of embodiment & somatics, meditation & mindfulness, healing & psychotherapy, and the art of human connection.
I believe that compassionate presence is the medicine the world needs.
For those curious, below is my story!
My love for movement initially led me to complete my BSc in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin, but something was missing. While my education taught me about anatomy and how the body works, it was only when I encountered yoga in 2014 that I started to learn from the inside out - to experience the body from within and come in contact with my lived experience. Since then I have been deeply engaged in studying and teaching various somatic and embodiment practices, as well as offering somatic bodywork and holistic physiotherapy.
I was lucky enough to encounter the benefits of therapy from my early twenties, and have a long-standing therapeutic relationship with my therapist over the last decade. What motivated my personal work was knowing I would one day sit in the other chair - and here I am! Like many therapists, I had personal experiences of people sharing that they experienced a different quality of presence in my listening, and I owe that to my mindfulness and meditation practice.
In 2016, I attended my first Buddhist retreat in Thich Nhat Hanh’s monastery which shared the miracle of being present in every moment, not just while sitting on the cushion! A few weeks later, I remember a day cycling to university where I felt such a deep connection with my breath, such a natural sense of wellbeing and presence - and I've continued practicing diligently since. My curiosity around meditation practice then led me to experience living in a mindfulness community in 2017 where we lived and practiced together, engaging in frequent sharing circles. This was the beginning of my passion for bringing people together and exploring practices that support people to feel seen, heard and understood.
I traveled to India in 2018 to study yoga with Simon Borg Olivier in Goa, and have since taught internationally in Europe, India and Costa Rica. In 2019 I cycled 8000km solo through 13 countries as a personal pilgrimage. I discovered that while the news scares us, there is so much kindness and genosity in the world. I made some life-long friends and also fell in love with Greece, where I now live.
I returned to India in 2023 and spent 14 months deepening my practice of yoga, and particularly Buddhist meditation within the Tibetan Kagyu lineage of Tai Situ Rinpoche. During my time in Asia I completed a 30 day silent retreat in India, and a 10 day solo retreat in Nepal. In 2024 I completed the meditation instructor training course with The Buddhist Studdies institute under the tutelage of Pema Khandro Rinpoche.
In 2025 I completed the professional training in the compassionate-inquiry approach developped by Dr Gabor Mate, and I am now completing a MSc Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Music and songwriting have also been central to my personal practice of self inquiry and personal growth. I sense it's time to reawaken the wisdom of our ancestors who sang and danced around the fire, who told stories, who were connected with nature and held rites of passage.
My facilitation is inspired by the wish to invite people to experience grounded spiritual practice through meditation, movement and music, while being nourished by a sense of togetherness. I have facilitated workshops and retreats in Ireland and India, creating a warm and welcoming environment for participants to come home to the body and discover the beauty of our interconnected and peaceful nature. I aspire to lead from my heart, and I hold an unwavering commitment to embody the practices I share.

people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel"
